Everybody says that if you want to gain popularity at the speed of light try controversy. A lot of people believe in it. And a lot of them work hard to develop a post around a controversial topic so that their blog gets huge popularity in different social networks.

The idea is fine and got enough logic to support it. But what made you think that something that works for a film star will also work for you?

There is nothing wrong in experimenting. But think twice before you start investing your time in developing the post.

Why do people love to read controversial topics about celebrities?

It is not just because it makes them feel good. It is also because people involved in the controversy are celebrities. The speaker and the intended person have some importance in the relevant places – what about you?

I will write a detailed post on this topic. But before I post the next post I will like to know your views on the topic – writing controversial posts.

Controversial post are a good thing if is an important issue or story. Sure it’s good to read the other view, and it creates the conversation. It should inspire people to comment and build the conversation.

This allows the people involved and watching to speak thier opinion on the subject or perhaps help the to create an opinion on the topic. Intellectual stimulation is a good thing.

Controversial post about celebrities? Who give’s a $*@*&$

For a post about controversy, this is about as uncontroversial as it gets :)

I think when it comes to controversial posts in blogging, it’s not a matter of trying to find an opinion that you think will cause a stir. It’s as simple as just having an opinion to begin with. If you have a firm stance about something then others will undoubtedly disagree with you. Not being afraid to share your opinion on your blog is, to me, step 1. People who are too scared to take a stance on their blog really don’t understand the medium.

And people who write “controversial posts” for the traffic instead of the message … well they just don’t get it either.
