Where are you investing?

Everybody knows that the market is down. Everybody knows that this is the right time to invest. But only a few have the courage to invest. And very few people know the right places to invest.

This is not the story of Wall Street. If you look at the online market, things are the same. A lot of webmasters are thinking that the market is really down and prospective buyers are holding on to their money. And thus there are high chances that the sales volume will go down. But how many of us really have faced the heat! The panic button is playing the role of the devil here.

I know that the online real estate market is facing huge problems. But did you ever tried to know who are they? What is their business model? Do you have any idea about what measures they have taken to fight with the problem rather than stooping some or most of the online promotional activities! And do you really think that all the online real estate marketers have closed the shutters forever!

A few years back there had been another depression in the US real estate market – do we remember those days? But what happened after that depression? Some people took the opportunity to invest more in real estate market. They got great deals as a lot of people were only interested in selling their property for whatever they could get. As if the world was going to end the next day. Things changed very fast and people those who invested in real estate at that point of time made huge profits. A lot of people say that the property market runs through a seven year cycle of ups and downs – seems funny!

All I want to say is measure your situation – if the sales volume is down, does it really mean that your business is incurring loss? If you are earning just enough to support the existing setup and other expenditures, stick to your business and run it in breakeven points. Find some other ways to earn something extra. Just remember those good old days that will surely return soon. And talk to people to find out newer avenues – help each other.

Yes, a bit of analysis of the market trend will show that all is not over yet. If winter comes, can spring be far behind?

I don’t know. I’m still not comfortable with investing large sums of money. For me it’s still too soon.

It depends on what is more valuable for someone. I think that calmness is invaluable, so it’s better not to invest at all.
