What’s the difference between a dentist, doctor and a blogger?

Calling all bloggers…

What’s the difference between a dentist, doctor and a blogger? we all get paid roughly the same income (one the apprenticeship has been served) we all help and improve our visitors life’s, so why is it then that doctor’s and dentists don’t get negative comments!

Its a trust thing…

Everyone loves a doctor, whatever they say you listen too and you never judge his/hers comments and opinions towards your health. The same exists with a dentist, some people are so scared of them that once they have their work done they never question or make a comment about the quality of their teeth even if the job is done to an unsatisfactory standard.

This is because they’re helping us with our health and our life in some respect. They both make us get and feel better about ourselves.

They can do no wrong in a high percentage of societies opinions. Why is not not the same then for a blogger? We help and improve peoples life’s in some way…yes? so why is it that we get the most grief and highly opinionated users/visitors?

I should have become a doctor, but then I’d have to deal with hypercondriacs and that would have driven me insane!

I’ve just worked it out…it’s because they don’t have a comment plugin at the surgery right?

GOod one, some doctors are evil too in my opinion. But with blogging if you’re getting bad comments it means you’re doing something right. There is no successful blog, or any successful written media that lacks negative comments.

A doctor and a dentist is certified in a field that requires many many years of education and is respected because of how complicated it is. Every doctor earned his respect and is certified. While almost every blogger is just an average joe and doesnt have to have any certification in the field he is talking about. Another thing is doctors/dentists actually do something physically and a blogger just talks..

A blogger is better compared to a teacher. A lot of the teacher know what they are teaching and had experiece while many more teachers are just talking about stuff they barely know about to get through the day and get paid.

You’ve got to be kidding me, you’re comparing bloggers to doctors. Let me ask you this, if tomorrow all the bloggers in the world disappeared what would happen? Probably not much. If tomorrow all the doctors in the world disappeared what would happen? If you’re going to spew this kind of crap wait for one of those self important “blogging symposiums” with the rest of the echo chamber. I subscribed to this blog when the original author posted a series on monetizing niche sites, interesting from an entrepreneurial perspective even if it’s something I probably wont try. I think I’ll be unsubscribing now. Thanks.

Me too. I’m really confused how this post relates to improving online business or e-commerce! This site has really changed direction and the reason I visited it is lost. And that’s probably why I’m leaving a negative comment…

These patients are actually referred to as hypochondriacs. Yahoo! Answers is full of morons.

Even if this is in the humor section, I don’t think you should compare doctors and bloggers, especially because of the education it takes to be a doctor (and it doesn’t really take much to be a blogger, although some are very educated but its not required). Also, everyone doesn’t love doctors, they get sued all the time, even if they were trying to do what they believed was best for the patient. Sorry, but I think this post is just foolish…

WOW! Aidie, I think they’re being a little harsh. I think you do need to improve, but you’re able.

I’d probably advise you to read through everything written already in this blog, and when a post gives a little inspiration, and you’ve something to add to it, use that to base your post.

    Just a thought.
