It is certainly taking me by surprise and I have been online for ten years here in the UK. Have a look at www.go2web20.com to be amazed by the number of flashy new sites springing up! But I can't say twitter has me all of a twitter - I haven't even worked out what it is! So much for their marketing :) I think this phenomenom called social networking is a forerunner of something else on the horizon.
