Eli has posted up an article on Blue Hat SEO on how to deal with pesky hotlinkers. This is a great solution to the problem inherent in optimizing your images for SEO traffic.

MyBlogLog apologizes to Shoemoney for banning him for giving out information gathered through an exploit. I wonder if Shoemoney will apologize for “ddn”s sensationalist post that accuses MBL of hiding their ad clicking script despite the fact that they display it publically and actually use it as a main selling point for MyBlogLog pro? Shoe, I understand you hate JZ, being banned, and Yahoo! in general, but letting your staff spread lies about MBL trying to cover up their ad click script is a little uncalled for, don’t you think?

Allen gives us 3 ways to expand our potential readerbase, and it’s stuff you actually may have not heard about before!

Matt has started a blog about blogging that shares money with commenters. There’s some good posts, and since contributors get paid, why not give it a shot?

I saw this blog earlier this week. J.R. plans to earn $1 million by the end of 2007 and give it all to his readers. Ambitious and deliciously generous.

    Matt,
From the feedback it seems to me that a heck of a lot of people weren’t aware of the MBL “feature”. In any case, why don’t you just let it go?

Because I think it’s wrong to mislead readers by making them think a company is hiding information when they’re really not? It’s not MBL’s fault that the majority of the mob doesn’t have a clue It’s the users’ fault for signing up for a service without reading about what it actually does. Anyways, this is my last post about it, so no worries.

I’ve come to frequent J.R.’s blog often. He has a “Blog Roll Call” that’s a cool concept. It’s worth keeping on the radar. Especially if he’s looking to share his wealth :)

That’s how great my host is. You spend hours on your content, and you get downtime, again and again and again. But this rant should go into my blog not here.

Thanks for the link Matt and for the readers who can’t reach the post yet, I hope you will come back to read it sometime soon.

    Regards,
    Allen.H

    Scott,
I came up with the concept when I was trying to think of methods to gain user interest while promoting the idea of a concurrant conversation with my readers.

Of course I need to be making a certain amount from the site before I can stand to continue the method and make a profit from the site.
