Reseller Hosting Guide (resellerguide.com) is a website with information about setting up a web hosting company by buying a dedicated server or a reseller hosting plan. This is a good online business because of the recurring monthly income.
First Impressions
The site design is clean. It doesn’t look bad but it is a little boring. There are not many colors, images, pictures, or icons so it doesn’t stand out from other sites. However, the site loads quickly.
The biggest problem I had with the design is the front page is too cluttered. Here is what I see on my screen.

Because of the clutter, I wondered which parts of the site were the most important. Was it the newest blog entries? Our should I click on the tabs? Then, there are the links on the top right. And what about the text on the yellow box? Is that important too? Basically, the front page has too many things going on.
I think the blog should go on a subfolder rather than the home page. And the owners don’t have to call it a blog if they don’t want to. They could call it the newest articles.
The front page could then highlight the steps to starting a web host company, which is found in the tabs and the category sidebar. That would be a front page that could help the reader who doesn’t know much about web hosting. This information on the front page would be better than the newest blog entries. And as people read the flagship articles in the proper order, then they would interested in the blog.
The tabs could then be the home page, the blog, and the top right links. Also, they could put a tab linking to the about page instead of leaving it on the footer. Also, the about page doesn’t have enough information. I think the owners could give more details about their experience in web hosting. Internet users expect more personal information from bloggers.
Content
The content is comprehensive. There are a lot of pages and informative articles. Reseller Hosting Guide also links out to useful resources like forum threads from a popular web hosting forum.
The blog is updated a couple times a month. The most important content is found by going to the posts in the categories. These posts form a comprehensive body over work on how to get started in reselling hosting.
The sitemap is a great place to see how the posts relate to each other. You can go through the sitemap and see the proper order of starting a web hosting company. Also, you can see the order by looking at the tabs and the categories sidebar. Here are the categories in the proper order.
- Introduction to Reseller Hosting
- Choosing a Reseller Host
- Setting Up Your Reseller Account
- Getting Clients to Sign Up
- Running Your Hosting Business
As you can see, it’s organized and the categories are arranged in a step-by-step logical manner. Each of the categories has at least 15 articles, so you’ll be sure to learn a lot about running a web hosting company.
Reseller Hosting Guide covers everything from reseller host recommendations and marketing your company to naming your domain and tech support. Also, they have free hosting templates, which you can customize.
I learned a lot from reading a couple articles. If I wasn’t so technologically inept, I might start my own web hosting company using the Reseller Hosting Guide tips.
Conclusion
If you’re looking to start an online business and have an interest in web hosting, check our Reseller Hosting Guide for help, guidance, and advice. The navigation of the layout is not very intuitive especially for someone like me who doesn’t know much about web hosting. However, if you take your time and read through the posts based on the order of the categories, you’ll learn a lot.

I bought reseller hosting package for personal use, not for sell :-)
compliant with the law?…
Take a serious look, and see if your website is breaking the law without you even knowing it. As far as the law is concerned…ignorance is no excuse. Avoid trouble…just take a minute and look!…
Reseller Hosting: Website Builders Daily Digest…
Reseller hosting is the ideal answer for webmasters, internet consultants or anyone wanting to start a profitable online business. Most hosting plans allow individual resellers to chalk out their own service facility plans and their own fee structure….
a very useful article. Very highly recommended :)
I have another opinion about getting a reseller package from a hosting company.
I am actually looking for a reseller package that truly offers me flexibility and great features. I am just a “starter” and I do not have very much clients-based. After wandering around, I found the Reseller Plan at ASPHostCentral.com looks very promising as they offer:
- Lower start-up price (only from $4.99/month).
- Better hosting features with bigger bandwidth and disk space at an afforable rate.
- Cost flexibility, i.e. I just have to pay on the service you use. For example: currently, I just have 6 clients, I then just have to register for the plan that supports up to 6 clients. If I get new client, I can just purchase an add-on ?reseller?. This means that I will be paying the services that I need right now, nothing much nothing less. This is just FANTASTIC!
- 24/7 Server monitoring. This means that they will do all the hard work for me. My task is just to get client and they will monitor them for me.
- Anonymous, ?my-own-branding? control panel. With this feature, my clients will never ever know that I am actually a reseller. This is simply because I can create my own brand on the control panel and I just need to pass this control panel to my clients.
- Separation of Control Panel. Each of my clients will get a separate control panel and I will maintain a ?master? control panel. My client can configure whatever he wants without needing to bother me.
Well, with just $4.99/month, this host is certainly on my recommendation list, especially for a small enterpreneur who has just started a new online business.
Hope this helps you guys
