Before you start with Squidoo here is my Warning!
Some people are setting up Squidoo Lenses incorrectly, made up of tons of spammy keywords and the markets they’re in will not help the customer they’re targeting resulting in the Squidoo Page being removed and your account banned. You must not do this, there is a correct way to set-up your Squidoo Page.
What can Squidoo do for YOU?
A Squidoo lens is a webpage (thats it) and guess what…Google love them because they have lots of unique, useful content. If you have a competitive market then you might have noticed that some of the search results on the top listings are actually Squidoo pages.
Squidoo is a network of user generated pages where you can not only create a sales page but also promote it within the network.
You can create your lens geared toward selling a product or as a satellite page to boost your existing site’s PR and SERP ranking. Since Squidoo is dofollow, you get a powerful, relevant backlink to your site also. Increase your search engine results placement through the use of Squidoo Lenses but mostly just get extra traffic to your website.

I am glad you understand & warn the newbie about banning & all. These kinda consequences need to be kept in mind while monetizing Squidoo. I am glad you are taking note of small details. It\\\’s great way to help people through such a small tips that would be relevant to them.

Thanks for your warning here. It’s very true and if you keep on spamming your squidoo lens, your page will get banned until you get rid of those spam on your lens.
Right now, I’m happy with my squidoo lens. I’m surprised everytime Squidoo LLC puts money on my PayPal account. What can you ask for, I’m making money even I’m asleep but of course it needs a lot of hardwork. You need to drive more traffics on your lenses to make money.

I definitly agree that you want to be careful not to create spammy lenses, because Squidoo is really cracking down on it. I did have a couple niches that I built informative lenses on that were locked. I personally think they are taking it a “little” bit too far.
