Posted on March 8, 2007 by Adie Competitions 13 Comments

I’m happy to announce the winner of the World of Warcraft sexy account giveaway: Jack of Bizstudent.net. Jack managed to land the 1337th post not by spamming but by actually posting good comments. Thanks to everyone who took the time out of your day to comment on my blog over the last week or so, and I hope you stick around even though I don’t have anything to bribe you with at the moment.

I am already planning a couple other promotional contests and giveaways for my readers, so stay tuned. Oh and by the way, I’m smashing Chow. Burn.

IMHO JC needs to start rejecting some ReviewMe requests - it’s practically all that’s on his blog now! Needs to go back to the good old days.

I dunno, 90% of his blog is based around himself making money and others reading about it lol so in that sense more ReviewMe reviews = better blog. But I did like it better when he was doing the reviews instead of a freelancer. Not that Kwan is bad, it just takes a bit away from it I think.

Well, personally I liked his blog a lot because he wrote about making money, now it seems people like his blog because he’s making money with his reviews that fill his blog - a bit the opposite ;)

    Congrats Jack!

But, Matt, I’m curious - how did you find legit (not spam) comment #1337?

The challenge question pretty much eliminates the spam, and I read all of the comments that go up here, so it wasn’t too hard.

John Chow needs a higher price for his reviews! $250 is obviously way too low, hence the stready stream of semi-relevant reviews. If ReviewMe (which is a great idea for mine) bumps his price up $100 or so it will help solve the problem, and Chow will still be baking cash.

Congratulations to the winner! I’ve been following the competition a little bit but decided not to comment much because I have lost way too many friends to that infernal game…

I think his idea is to keep the prices low so there will be enough demand for them, if he increases it people might consider it too much money for his webpage.
